Design for The Body Electric, a limited-edition collector's item produced for the exhibition Costume Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, developed in close collaboration with Nathalie Agussol and Julie Wolfe. Curated by Andrew Bolton, the exhibition explores how fashion transforms the body through the lens of age, size, gender, and disability.
Produced in an edition of 500, each set includes a hand-numbered edition card; an oversized, unbound book of photographs and assemblages; and an original signed and numbered print by artist Julie Wolfe. All elements are housed in an embossed linen-covered box with a cotton ribbon closure. Produced with metallic inks, die-cut pages, foil stamping, and embossed elements. Photography by Paul Westlake, additional photography by Anna-Marie Kellen. Assemblages by Julie Wolfe with photography by Nathalie Agussol.
